Job Description:
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking talented ASIC engineers to join its Engineering Group, specifically within the ASICS Engineering team. As a leader in technology innovation, Qualcomm is expanding into new markets, including PCs, and is looking for individuals with strong analytical and technical skills to contribute to high-performance ASIC development for mobile, AI, Compute, and XR applications.
Responsibilities:
- Execute architecture and design of SoCs according to provided design protocols.
- Resolve architecture, design, or verification issues using ASIC engineering practices with minimal supervision.
- Implement design and verification strategies in alignment with project specifications.
- Participate in the design, analysis, and review of IPs.
- Identify opportunities for flow and process improvements through design techniques and automation.
- Provide feedback on silicon learnings to the process team and design methodology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience; OR
- Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR
- PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Experience in ASIC design and verification.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering problems.
