Join Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. as part of the Global CAD team, where you will contribute to the development of RTL and Synthesis solutions for Snapdragon chips that power billions of mobile devices. This role requires expertise in SystemVerilog, Synthesis, and Place and Route, along with CAD development skills to enhance implementation tools and methodologies focused on performance, power, and area . You will collaborate closely with design and implementation teams, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI and machine learning, to innovate and streamline design processes. As a key member of the team, you will participate in optimizing RTL, improving synthesis methodologies, and interfacing with EDA vendors to ensure production-ready toolsets. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing design requests, maintaining regression tests, and driving initiatives that lead to patents in design and tool techniques. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1-4 years of VLSI CAD experience are preferred. This position is based in San Diego, CA.
