Job Description:

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer for its Coherent High Speed Interconnect team, focusing on the verification of high-speed coherent interconnect designs for mobile SoCs and GPUs. This role is pivotal in the AI computing era, contributing to advancements in various fields including consumer graphics and self-driving cars.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify high-speed coherent interconnect design, architecture, and golden models.
  • Develop micro-architecture using advanced verification methodologies.
  • Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure including Testbenches, BFMs, Checkers, and Monitors.
  • Complete test/coverage plans and ensure design correctness.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, emulation, and silicon verification teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant verification experience.

Skills:

  • Experience in architecting test bench environments for unit level verification.
  • Background in verification using random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based methodologies.
  • Prior design or verification experience of coherent high-speed interconnects.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard interconnect protocols like PCIE, CXL, CHI.
  • Strong background in developing Testbenches from scratch using System Verilog and UVM methodology.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming and scripting.
  • Familiarity with design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent, debug tools like Debussy, GDB).
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of mentoring junior engineers.
