Job Description:
ForwardEdge ASIC, a Lockheed Martin company, is looking for mid-level Analog Design Engineers with 3-12 years of experience to enhance domestic ASIC capabilities in St. Paul, MN. The role involves designing innovative microelectronics solutions for commercial, defense, and security customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog mixed-signal circuit blocks for IP development and ASIC/ASSP designs.
- Participate in system-level and block-level IC design activities, including architecture definition, circuit design, schematic capture, and simulation.
- Document analog design blocks and collaborate with engineers to define, conduct tests, and analyze measurement data.
- Work with advanced CMOS technologies, including FinFet technology.
- Apply low power and high-speed design techniques to circuit design.
- Utilize standard IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Virtuoso, and Spice.
- Assist in the validation of circuit design through lab skills.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- 3-12 years of circuit design experience in analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuits in deep sub-micron technologies (5 – 40 nm).
- Experience with high-speed I/O cell designs and power delivery circuits.
- Strong knowledge in AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and FinFet technologies.
- Understanding of mismatch analysis, Monte-Carlo methodology/sims, and transistor-level noise analysis.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cadence ADE, Spectre, and MATLAB.
