Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional verification on custom mixed-signal ASICs.
  • Develop detailed verification plans, methodologies, and test-bench infrastructure.
  • Create constraint-random and directed tests, scoreboards, and checks.
  • Implement, analyze, and close coverage.
  • Perform regression triage, failure analysis, and resolution.
  • Run gate-level simulations, analyzing and resolving failures and timing violations.
  • Collaborate with digital/analog designers, systems, applications, and manufacturing test engineers for pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience in block-level or chip-level design verification for ASICs.
  • Strong background in HDLs (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) and HVLs (e.g., SystemVerilog/UVM, OVM, AVM, Vera).

Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience in ASIC design verification (preferred).
  • Ability to work closely with digital/analog designers and applications engineers.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and Verilog Assertions.
  • Proficiency in creating, evaluating, debugging, and improving verification processes.
  • Mentoring skills for junior engineers in verification methodology.
