Job Description:
Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking a skilled leader for an Analog IC design team, focusing on innovative solutions in consumer electronics, mobile computing, and communications. This role involves overseeing product development from conception to manufacturing, ensuring technical objectives are met while fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to release.
- Direct and participate in the design and evaluation of electronic components and integrated circuits.
- Assign tasks to team members, providing design guidance and monitoring project progress.
- Evaluate project results during design and silicon evaluation phases.
- Collaborate with physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
- Work with Design Verification teams to ensure completion of technical tasks before production.
- Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes in collaboration with systems and application engineers.
- Facilitate successful transfer to production with validation and test engineering teams.
- Engage with customers and TI sales teams to understand and support customer designs.
- Participate in hiring and developing personnel for organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in power electronics and DC-DC converter design.
- Understanding of layout considerations for high-current monolithic LDMOS power devices.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
