Job Description:
Join Lockheed Martin Space as an ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer, contributing to the development of advanced avionics products in a dynamic Integrated Product Development environment. This full-time position is based in Denver, Highlands Ranch, or Sunnyvale, with a flexible 9x80 work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ASIC and FPGA designs for low SWaP, radiation-hardened, space-rated devices.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of ASIC and FPGA development from requirements capture to testing in a Linux-based environment.
- Conduct technical reviews and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with an independent verification team to ensure design integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in ASIC/FPGA design.
- US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Skills:
- Experience with FPGA and digital ASIC design.
- Proficiency in HDL programming (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog).
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Knowledge of space-grade FPGAs and ASICs, including tools like AMD/Xilinx Vivado or Microchip Libero.
