Job Description:

Continental Controls Corporation (CCC) is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team in San Diego, California. The role involves designing advanced fuel control and emissions control systems for industrial natural gas engines and turbines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic hardware design and will contribute to the development of innovative control products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design analog and digital electronic circuits for industrial fuel control systems.
  • Design multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) using industry-standard CAD software.
  • Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronic hardware.
  • Perform component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and design verification.
  • Support prototype development, validation testing, and production release.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers throughout the product development process.
  • Prepare engineering documentation and support manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
  • Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience designing multilayer PCBs.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded hardware, and communication interfaces (SPI, I²C, CAN, UART, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative engineering environment.
