Job Description:
Join our team as an Electronics Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, where you will contribute to the development of advanced avionics products in a dynamic Integrated Product Development environment. This full-time position requires on-site work and offers a flexible 9x80 schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Support lead engineers in the design, development, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of flight electronics hardware.
- Generate design artifacts (SCD, ICD, IDD, Analysis, etc.) for technical forums and milestone reviews.
- Drive best practices in electronics design, development, manufacturing, and component qualification.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive design efforts and part selection.
- Conduct electronics design analysis activities including worst-case analysis and part-stress analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely component delivery and manage production aspects.
- Lead specific topics during engineering reviews and support test planning and troubleshooting efforts.
- Mentor teammates on best practices in electronics design and testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in electronic hardware design and troubleshooting.
- Experience as a product Responsible Engineer or equivalent leading design activities.
- Experience in multiple electronic design and analysis activities (3 or more).
- Familiarity with Electronics Design CAD tools such as Zuken or Mentor Graphics.
Skills:
- Experience in designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- Ability to work on integrated product teams.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Electrical or Electronics theories and principles.
