FPGA Advance Verification Engineer [Associate, Mid-Level]

Boeing is seeking early career UVM Advance Verification FPGA Engineers to join the AvionX FPGA Development team in Mesa, AZ. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment focused on advanced technology development for avionics solutions. Engineers will engage in the FPGA verification lifecycle, receiving mentorship to enhance their skills and career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Assist on UVM Advance Verification tasks to verify FPGA designs in teams with other FPGA designers and engineers.
• Support FPGA development projects, including proof of concept designs and high assurance/safety-critical programs.
• Collaborate with senior FPGA engineers to understand and derive FPGA requirements.
• Assist during system, software, hardware, and FPGA lab integration to replicate conditions that may cause unexpected behavior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• US Person per ITAR/EAR technical information access requirements.
• 1 or more years of FPGA or ASIC advance simulation experience.

Skills:

• 2 or more years of FPGA or ASIC simulation experience (preferred).
• DO-254 FPGA development experience (preferred).
