Job Description:
NVIDIA is seeking exceptional ASIC Design Engineers to design and implement leading SoCs and GPUs, impacting various product lines from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and AI. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, technology-focused environment with a global team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of computing.
Responsibilities:
- Implement GPU sub-system modules as a key member of the Design team.
- Make architectural trade-offs based on features, performance requirements, and system limitations.
- Develop micro-architecture, implement in RTL, and deliver a fully verified, synthesis/timing clean design.
- Support post-silicon validation activities.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, verification teams, and back-end teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in ASIC design and development.
- Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development of complex designs in Verilog.
- Exposure to Digital systems, VLSI design, Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, and CMOS transistors and circuits.
- Understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, and lab debug.
Skills:
- Knowledge of PCI-Express (Gen 3 and above) or CXL protocol is a plus.
- Experience in Python, Perl, and C/C++ programming languages is desirable.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively.
