Responsibilities:
- Develop digital architecture and DSP algorithms, and perform RTL design and verification for digital and mixed signal ASICs.
- Address complex design and development challenges, including customer application issues, using product knowledge to validate design concepts.
- Engage in full ASIC design activities, including definition, architecture, DSP design, digital logic design, IP validation, verification, and synthesis.
- Integrate high-performance analog measurement circuits and develop DSP algorithms to enhance analog circuit performance.
- Participate in the verification and debugging of ASICs during product turn-on.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in digital and mixed signal ASIC design and DSP algorithms
- Strong fundamentals in Electrical Engineering with experience in ASIC Design and DSP
- Solid mathematical background and proficiency in Digital Signal Processing theory
- Experience with software models in ASIC design and verification
- Leadership skills to influence teams and drive productivity
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Skills:
- Experience with digital ASIC design tools like Cadence or Mentor
- Understanding of analog design basics
- Fluency in object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with ASIC/FPGA design flow and methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with various teams
- Knowledge of test plan design, regression testing, and functional coverage.
