Job Description:
Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Engineering Group, specifically within ASICS Engineering. The role involves independent planning and execution of wireless modem design, verification, and RTL implementation, contributing to the development of advanced mobile products across various wireless standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Independently plan and perform wireless modem design and verification.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Verification, and Systems teams for precise testing of wireless modems.
- Investigate solutions for concept designs and evaluate architecture proposals.
- Design, verify, and deliver complex modems from functional specifications to final products.
- Actively participate in design reviews and project meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of wireless modem design and verification processes.
- Experience with RTL implementation and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
