Job Description:

Credo is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to enhance connectivity solutions through front-end ASIC design, focusing on RTL implementation and verification of complex logic blocks. This role involves collaboration with product development and system teams to ensure successful chip tape-outs and validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute automated and manual optical tests for lenses, fiber optics, and active components.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation, calibration routines, and data logs for precision and reliability.
  • Select and integrate advanced testing equipment from third-party vendors.
  • Analyze and optimize test data to improve yield, coverage, and repeatability.
  • Collaborate with optical designers and manufacturing partners for smooth deployment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and innovation.
  • Hands-on experience with testing lenses and fibers using standard or custom-built systems.
  • Proficiency in scientific programming using Python with at least five years of experience.
  • Ability to independently operate testing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Exposure to statistical tools for data analysis (e.g., JMP, Minitab) is preferred.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and test partners.
