Job Description:

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, is seeking a Senior Electrical or Computer Engineer to design and verify advanced testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs. This role is crucial for developing innovative signal processing and information assurance technologies that support critical Mission Systems capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design verification environments using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM.
  • Create written test plans, test cases, and track code and functional coverage.
  • Develop testbenches for RTL block verification using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
  • Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits.
  • Provide technical leadership for project verification teams, including work breakdown, planning, and status reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience (5 years) or an Advanced Degree (3 years).
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
  • Experience with ASIC/FPGA RTL coding, simulation, and verification using VHDL and/or Verilog.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of chip-level verification methodologies and tools, including constrained-random verification and functional coverage.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and revision control systems like Git or Subversion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
