Job Description:
Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to develop automated production test solutions for RF transceivers and mixed signal devices. This role involves supporting the launch of new products into high-volume production and enhancing existing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ATE test programs and integrate various test functions to support silicon bring-up in the NPI phase.
- Define RF test strategies, test plans, and procedures based on product specifications, collaborating with design and qualification teams.
- Perform design characterization and validation on ATE across PVT, communicating results and analysis to cross-functional teams.
- Utilize ATE test tools and external instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, logic analyzer) to debug issues.
- Support continuous improvement activities during and post-NPI phase, focusing on yield and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; MSEE preferred.
- Knowledge of analog circuits and RF is preferred.
- Experience with ATE systems such as Teradyne or 93K is a plus.
